Update: the owner actually called me after I posted this review and went above and beyond.  The owner seems to care about his business and customer service, which is why I am changing my review. He answered my questions and worked the minor issue out with my motorcycle to my satisfaction.

Just what slime… I purchased a used Triumph and called to see if the bike is still under warranty as it has a very minor issue with the headlight being foggy.  I talked to a guy named Lando and instead of just telling me if the bike was in or out of warranty, he said he would need to see it in person…. Then went into something about I could purchase an extended warranty then proceeded to try to get my name and my phone number… I called for a simple question and instead of just answering my question, they went into underhanded, “how do we get money from this person”. This is why people hate dealers and why I didn’t purchase a bike from one. You have lost a customer for life as I will never bring my bike in to you for service or anything else.

Today I went down to Triumph Santa Monica for the monthly group ride to Bike Shed (downtown LA). Had a blast!  It was a very  organized but casual and fun event. Everyone on the ride was great. Before the ride, Adam (Leader) gave the group a good orientation of the route and general riding etiquette. I’ll definitely join them for the next one!

Aside from all that, my impression of the dealership was that it had a very welcoming vibe and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Very genuine folks with none of that pretentious/pushy vibe. In addition to a great selection of Triumph bikes, they also had an excellent assortment of gear and bike accessories.

I spoke to a couple riders who said they have their bikes serviced there regularly and highly recommend them.

So stoked that this finally opened! Time came for some new tires and new brakes and discovered they finally opened. Equally exciting to take a ride on Triumph day at the end of every month! There’s gotta be 6 or 7 motorcycle places between my apartment and Triumph Santa Monica… but I’m gonna choose Triumph Santa Monica EVERY time. Y’all, these guys are the best. Not just because they’re friendly, not just because they’re knowledgeable (both of which, they very much are), but because they go above and beyond to foster a community of riders that makes everyone feel welcome - especially newer riders.

Special shoutout to Adam, who organizes incredible group rides with LA Motorcycle Club and the 4th Saturday of every month for Triumph Day at Bike Shed Moto Co. I finally found THE place to get my Vespa tires changed. I knew this place was different from the moment I started rolling up and everyone was attentive and helpful and positively disposed. The beautiful bikes lining the walk to the desk are like an art exhibit. I was able to same day get my tires changed, get a quote in for some damage, and an oil checkup with a complimentary top off and tidbits of knowledge from the amazing staff. Absolutely incredible service!!! Stopped in at Santa Monica Triumph on our trip from Alberta to San Diego to see if I could get a chain service. They were very accommodating and got my 2024 Tiger 900 Rally Pro in right away. Every single one of the staff that we talked to introduced themselves and welcomed us to California. Thanks for the great experience 😊
